Email Advice in Your Inbox Volume 47
Time to give us your insanely valuable feedback

👋🏻 Hey! New here?
Welcome to Vol. 47 of Email Advice in Your Inbox!
Back in your inbox. Our favourite place to be 🫶🏻
This week’s Volume is a little…different.
We’re putting you in the driver’s seat and asking for you to decide the direction of the journey these emails are going to take.
There’s still a treasure trove of insights and entertainment to follow, but today’s email is an important one to you and us.
Because we can offer you a blacklit paradise, but we need some help.
PS: First, check out a few of this week’s top links before we ask you to get involved.
And we thank you, in advance 🙏🏻

After today, we’re officially two Volumes away from 50 editions of Email Advice in Your Inbox.
This newsletter is just over two and a half years old, and we feel like we’re only getting started.
At this same time, there have been a heap of changes since Volume 1.
We’ve moved to Beehiiv.
We’ve changed the format and structure.
We’ve added two new dedicated publications to the family.
And we’re planning so many new things - There’s just no stopping as this community grows.
With growth naturally comes evolution. That’s the topic of today’s Volume.
And we’re asking for some help and feedback to curate these emails to meet your expectations, Friend.
Tell us what you want (what you really, really want)
Today, we’re asking you for less than 2 minutes in exchange for a better inbox and the promise of some hard (and smart) work we’ll be putting into these emails.
Your help involves 2 quick things:
1. We’ve put together a survey that takes less than 30 seconds to complete.
Not only will this give us an inside look at your preferences, but also what you’d like to see from us in emails to come.
This is invaluable because you’re here for a reason. Tell us what we can do to remain one of your favourite emails below.
2. If you have another minute, we’d love to hear from you!
You can fire over an email with any ideas, suggestions or improvements you feel would enhance your experience of these emails.
Simply hit this link to say hi - We promise to respond to every email we get!
Even if you’re new here, we want your opinion
You might have just joined us, and you’re eagerly anticipating what’s in store (or, so we hope), but your feedback is still super helpful!
You can check out all our previous Volumes here, and if there’s something missing or that you think would help us, we’d love to hear it.
We’re on a massive drive to enhance your experience and appreciate your time.
More than you realise.

On a lighter note: Maybe your email automation sucks…
Unfortunately, as funny as this seems, it’s a sad reality for so many email senders and brands.
This post by our friend, Israa Alwari, sums it up perfectly: “Brands will spend days, even weeks, perfecting their email campaigns while blissfully ignorant of the damage email flows are doing in the background.”
Take that as a reminder to pay more attention to your email automation, folks.
