Email Advice in Your Inbox Volume 36

A few exciting changes in 2025

Welcome to Vol.36 of Email Advice in Your Inbox!

Happy New Year, Friend!

Yes, we know we’re about 2 weeks late to wish you, but it wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t 🙂

If you’ve been part of the community for a while, today’s Volume may look a little…different.

Fear not! We're making some changes, additions, and enhancements to build this community and keep this email one of your favourites for the year ahead.

This Volume will be slightly shorter than our usual lineup, so here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect:

  • A few exciting changes

  • Where we need your help

  • A few quick links to kick things off

  • On a lighter note: Spam, we can’t be friends

Let’s kick off 2025 together ✈️

We’ve spent the past few weeks ideating some stuff we think the community is going to both enjoy and find useful to their email journey.

Below is a quick summary of what you can expect from Email Advice in Your Inbox this year:

More regular email knowledge base and updates

The whole reason you’re here is for the email knowledge (and the memes at times too, right?).

This year we’re going to focus on giving you the latest in the email world and how you can use these strategies, insights and industry updates to help you make the most out of your email strategy.

New ways to enhance your experience in these emails

When you signed up, we promised you that you’d remain at the front and centre of our strategy as a community, Friend. We want to live up to that.

You’ll be seeing a few more polls and intermittent, personal check-ins to make sure we share the stuff you want to hear, and also to find ways we can enhance your experience within these emails.

(PS: We’ve introduced our first poll further on in this email and would love your contribution 👀).

More expert insights from our friends

Our intermittent feature, Email Advice from A Friend has been a hit over the past year or two. We value the opinions and expertise of fellow members of our community and want to keep that going in a massive way.

We’re already lining up our first Volume for the year in Feb and intend to have expertise from at least one new expert featured monthly.

If you prefer to stick around for our regular bi-weekly newsletter only, then you can toggle our expert features using the button below to update your preferences.

New sponsored content

We’re big fans of sourcing new tech, resources and tools that email senders and operators can use to enhance their email and digital game.

We’ll soon be opening up sponsorship slots for leading tech, newsletters and resources to contribute to our audience.

No crap. That’s our rule. We’ll be working with sponsors who have been vetted and who present solutions that have value for our community. We’ll also, always, ensure we state which content is sponsored in any way.

(PS: If you’re looking to cross-promote or sponsor any content to our community, reach out here - We’d love to collaborate!)

As promised a little earlier, we’re on a drive this year to build these emails around topics you want to learn about.

To do that best, we’ll be introducing regular polls into these emails to get feedback on topics and content, used to enhance your preferences.

To get this right, we need your help.

We’d like to know which topic you would like to hear about in our coming Volumes by clicking the button below and ticking any of the 6 boxes you see.

If you choose to send us an email, hit this link and let us know which topics you’d like to see covered in future Volumes.

Thank you for helping us help you, Friend 💌

We can’t share a Volume without some email knowledge, can we?

Though we’ll be back to our regular email schedule from our next edition, here are a few quick links we found with some helpful stuff and industry updates to get your 2025 email-learning journey on the road:

We have some in-depth email knowledge coming in our next Volume, so stick around and learn alongside us.

On a lighter note: Spam, we can’t be friends

Our relationship with spam is, well…on the rocks? 🙃

Let’s be honest, it’s never been anything near Bridgerton-worthy, well, ever.

Here’s a reminder that your audience feels the same. So don’t spam this year. Or ever.

Good.

Another Volume down. An exciting year ahead.

Before we go…You may have noticed a different domain or our email winding up in strange folders. We’ve just moved email providers and we’re still warming up our domain, so please drag this email to your main inbox or add us as a trusted sender.

We appreciate you 🙏

See you in two weeks!
